The Wilderness Workbench - VE7NSD

This is where I hope to post projects that I am working on.   I have named this the Wilderness Workbench, because my workbench, 31"x44", is wedged into a space that's 42"x72" (it hangs over my  bunk on the left side), in a early 80's 23' travel trailer that I now call home.  This year has found me and my new home in the Deadman Creek valley in the South Cariboo of British Columbia, and now I am in Lillooet, BC, about 3 hours North of the Whistler Ski Resort.  See my QRZ listing for more details.

In the upper picture you see my current favourite rig, the ATS3B.  What a radio!  Above that is the NEScaf from NEQRP.  Without the Scaf filter I don't think I could have returned to amateur radio.  Not with these ears.  And below the rig is my Micro paddle by Dennis Foster, KK5PY.  I got the idea to stick the Micro in a cork from Steve "Goat Man" Galchutt, N0TU.  For portable ops I use an 11.1 V LiPo pack, giving me 5 watts on 80M through 15M,when fully charged.  And the moose hide?  Well . . . . it came from a moose.
