fr4 copper clad

1-1000MHz Homebrew Step Attenuator

Yet another homebrew step attenuator.  This was actually a work related project I decided to photograph and document the construction steps.  It has a good response and SWR to 1000MHz using copper clad (quasi- Manhattan style) and surface mount resistors.  The article also includes a short tutorial on using G10-FR4 copper clad at high frequencies.  Performance was tested on a scalar network analyzer to show response and SWR to 1000MHz; waveforms included.  Hope you find the information useful.
