Yet another homebrew step attenuator. This was actually a work related project I decided to photograph and document the construction steps. It has a good response and SWR to 1000MHz using copper clad (quasi- Manhattan style) and surface mount resistors. The article also includes a short tutorial on using G10-FR4 copper clad at high frequencies. Performance was tested on a scalar network analyzer to show response and SWR to 1000MHz; waveforms included. Hope you find the information useful.
